Donate Your Furniture, Help Future Students
As the school year comes to a close, many students find themselves faced with the question of what to do with their furniture. Moving out of dorms or apartments can be a hectic and stressful time, and it can be difficult to find a good home for used furniture. That’s where our furniture donation program comes in.
We’re excited to announce that we’re once again collecting furniture donations from students who are moving out this year. By donating your furniture, you can help future students who might not have the means to buy their own furniture. And the best part?
All donated furniture will be given away for free to incoming students next year.
Here’s how it works:
- We will have two different drop-off locations set up at different IU apartments, each with designated time slots where you can drop off your furniture.
- We will have a trailer at each location where you can unload your items. To see what items we do and do not accept, click here
We know that moving can be a hassle, so we’ve made the donation process as easy as possible. Just check out the drop-off location and time slots that work for you, and come by with your furniture during the designated time. Our volunteers will be on hand to help you unload and answer any questions you might have.
By donating your furniture, you’re not only helping future students, but you’re also doing your part for the environment. By keeping furniture out of landfills, we can reduce waste and promote sustainability on campus.
