We are pleased that FGA was awarded the “Event of the Year” award by the IU Office of Student Organizations. This award is given to a student organization that held an outstanding event for the IU community during the past year. This is a significant recognition since there are over 700 student organizations at IU.
Every year, we strive to create a donation program that benefits new international students and promotes sustainability on campus. Our goal is to make it easy for students and members of the community to donate unwanted furniture and provide a new home for those in need.
Winning this award is an incredible honor and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in making our event a success. We are grateful to the IU community for recognizing our efforts and supporting our cause.
Through our donation program, we have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of many new international students. By providing free furniture to those who may not have the means to purchase their own, we are helping to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment on campus.
We want to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who has donated furniture to our program, volunteered their time, or helped spread the word about our event. Without your support, we would not have been able to achieve this incredible honor.
