BISM is dedicated to helping new international students transition well into academic life, and we’re excited to expand our services to include furniture donations that will benefit future international students.
Starting next weekend, we’ll be visiting homes and businesses throughout the community to collect gently used furniture items that are in good condition. The furniture donations will be used to help furnish apartments for future international students who will be attending IU. Many of these students come to IU with very few possessions and limited financial resources, and your furniture donations can help make their transition to a new country and new school much smoother.
We believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to call home, and by donating your furniture items, you can help make that a reality for future international students. Whether you’re downsizing, redecorating, or simply looking to give back, your donation can make a big difference in the lives of these students.
